I have spent years kicking around the idea of developing on UltimateGuideBook.com. With a name like the Ultimate Guide Book, I didn’t want to underwhelm. So here we are. Feeling underwhelmed? Congratulations, you just ruined this website.

What’s Planned for UGB?

Well, we just got the acronym for UltimateGuideBook, UGB, and that’s nifty. It’s 2025 and so much knowledge has been shared across the internet but there’s a lot of low quality crap and then pure bullshit. The goal here will be to focus on useful quality. This means that I don’t need to reinvent the wheel and for some guides, there will be links to existing resources who have nailed it. Then we’ll chime in with our own thoughts and supplements to existing ideas where I feel more is needed.

What are the Ultimate Topics?

Currently the major areas worth covering are:

#1 AI – ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence tools worth sharing. Which tools are available right now to make your life easier and tips for getting the most from them. There’s thousands of websites popping up offering competing technology. Don’t waste your money or time signing up for inferior tools.

#2 Crypto – Cryptocurrency, NFTs and other Digital Assets are here to stay in one form or another. Since there’s already a ton of information about these things already, there will be less tutorials and less posts of me trying to get you to buy these things and more useful topics like getting the most from crypto and myths and misconceptions shared. There’s this idea that cryptocurrency is a way to send and receive money anonymously. Maybe, until you connect a bank acccount or other service to a digital wallet. More on that soon.

I’m on a quest for financial freedom. I run a business currently that provides a full-time income for 3 people and it is growing. I’ve been self-employed since 2007. As that business continues to grow, I’ll be sharing useful knowledge in the realm of entrepreneurship(#3). Again, actual useful free content and discourse without a course where I am trying to shake you down and steal your beer money. I have been in eCommerce since the end of the 1990s and have earned money through a variety of legal ways. I’ve also seen a lot of scams, snake oil salespeople and phonies so I will share some insights on both old and new concepts. Hopefully that will save you time and money. I have a lot of resources worth sharing that you may not already know about.

#4 Adulting – I’m not to old to use that as a verb but I’ve been around the block enough times to share some of the wisdom I’ve found along the way. Some of this will be in the #5 Life Hacks realm. Some of this stuff I am still learning about and expanding my own knowledge so as I go from newbie to pro, I’ll be sharing. For instance, at the end of 2022, I began taking advantage of high interest rates and began purchasing U.S. treasury bills. They were profitable but could I have saved more on the income taxes due on the profit earned? We’ll get into investing, IRAs, HSAs and other acronyms. I’ll do my best to “explain like I’m 5” and provide credible sources. Do you already know all about saving for retirement? Cool. Have you ever been granted a loan at a really low interest rate, say 3.75% and then taken the same amount of money and invested it somewhere to passively earn 5.25% interest? Coming soon!

#6 Physical Health and #7 Mental Health

To succeed in business and in life, there is value to taking care of your mind and body. And since I’m still a bit of a fatty, hopefully I will have some anecdotes worthy of your time. One of the big things I am seeing people pushing back on via memes and social media is a certain part of “Entrepreneur Bro Culture” where you hustle a ridiculous amount of hours and/or do whatever it takes with or without integrity. In my own experience, I have found that taking days off have made me more productive. There’s a difference between slacking off and taking a breath. Not to mention maximizing your time. I’ve taken an interest in mindfulness and mindfulness has been useful in dealing with health, relationships and business. So I hope to share in this area as well.

I Want You!

I have many answers but I don’t have all of the answers. So I am definitely looking forward to collaborating with others whether on one off situations like guest posters or part-time or full-time help. As this site progresses feel free to chime in if you have ways to fill gaps in the guide book!

To Conclude…

Honesty and Integrity are pretty important to me. If this site is executed the way I am intending, it will improve my life and the lives of those you use it. That said, for now I am going by the moniker of “Nicholas Q” and will plan to share details of myself as needed. My advice when taking advice from a stranger on the internet who isn’t willing to reveal their full identity is “Red Flag! Avoid!” If I do this right, the information here will all have a combination of credible sources or with a bit of critical thinking, you’ll understand if the advice found here is worthy of taking or not.

How Much Will This Cost Me?

I am thinking just your time. At least for everything that is on this website. We’ll be talking about tools to make your life easier and at this time, I don’t own any of those tools so I have nothing to sell you in this realm. Though I do think it is worth pointing out that the domain name UltimateGuideBook.com is listed for sale and that means I may need to move the content to a new website in the future unless someone wanted the entire website. Interested? You can find the listing for UltimateGuideBook.com on Afternic and SEDO. Between the two marketplaces where this domain is for sale, it’s really just a personal preference. They are the big two marketplaces in the industry and are both secure for buyers and reliable. At some point I do plan to talk more about domain names and about those marketplaces.

Thank you,

Nicholas Q
